During these challenging times the wellbeing and mental health of our children is so important.
You and your child might like the Cbeebies Bedtime Stories this week. They are read by the actor Tom Hardy and have themes of long distance friendship, sharing problems and true courage in overcoming seemingly impossible challenges. The stories he reads are: Hug Me, (about a cactus who just needs a hug), Under the same sky (about two friends who find a new way to stay in touch), There’s a tiger in the garden (about letting your imagination take you to places), Don’t worry little crab (about mustering the courage to try something new) and finishing this week with The problem with problems. You can watch the CBeebies Bedtime Stories each weekday at 6.50pm on the CBeebies channel and they is also available on BBC iPlayer. Here is a link to some activities you can do at home with your child to discuss emotions and feelings. home_learning_wellbeing_lesson.pptx resource_1_-_feelings_vocabulary_cards.docx You can also see a range of useful links on the wellbeing page of the school website: www.southtawton.co.uk/well-being Comments are closed.
